Sunlight Mountain Resort
Howdy from the Sunlight Winter Sports Club athletes! We’re from Glenwood Springs, Colorado and surrounding communities in the Roaring Fork and Colorado river valleys, a small section of Colorado teaming with super-fast snow rippers! We have the greatest coaches and we love to carve up our local mountain, Sunlight Mountain Resort.

We are youngsters, ages 6 to 12 who are recreational skiers that want a basic exposure to alpine ski racing and freestyle competition. We gather at Sunlight Mountain each Saturday beginning on the first non-holiday weekend in January. We are on the hill from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm with adult, volunteer coaches. We invite you to join us and participate in as many as 8 days of educational ski racing each year.
Sunlight Ski Team
We are skiers age 8 to 18 who are accomplished at our sport and are ready to challenge ourselves by developing new skills in competitive, Olympic quality racing. We are dedicated young people who love alpine ski racing and choose to spend several weekdays, weekends, and holidays to train, travel and compete in USSA sanctioned races. We commence dryland training in mid-summer, start early-season training as soon as conditions permit, and train weekends and every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon after school.
