Howdy from the Sunlight Winter Sports Club athletes! We're from Glenwood Springs, a small western Colorado town
full of super fast snow rippers! We have the greatest coaches and we love to carve up our local mountain,
Sunlight Mountain Resort.
Sunlight Ski Team is comprised of...
skiers age 8 to 18 who are accomplished at their sport and are ready to challenge themselves through developing new
skills in competitive Olympic quality racing. These dedicated kids love the sport and choose to spend several
weekdays, all their weekends, and holidays to train, travel and compete in
USSA sanctioned races. Our racers commence dryland training in mid-summer,
start early-season training as soon as conditions permit, train weekends and every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon after school.
Buddy Werner Racers are....
youngsters, ages 6 to 12 who are recreational skiers that would like to learn more about alpine and freestyle competition. Learn all about
our programs by clicking here. Gather at Sunlight Mountain each Saturday beginning on
the first weekend in January. Racers are on the hill from 9:00am until 3:00pm with adult volunteer coaches. Skiers and
snowboarders are invited to come join and participate in as many as 8 days of skiing and racing each year.
